Our team had such a great time and did a phenomenal job executing our interpretation of "Under the Sea".

What are you doing to make a difference? Here are some eco-friendly tips:
1. Take shorter showers
2. When emptying a pets bowl, use the water to feed your plants
3. Turn off the water while brushing your teeth
4. Recycle
5. Never toss trash in the toilet
6. Turn off the lights
7. Buy reuseable grocery bags
8. Walk, bicycle, or carpool when possible
9. Pick up litter and throw it in the trashcan
10. Skip bottled water, use your own bottle from home

April is Earth Month at Aveda

During April, the Ohio Chapter Sierra Club is partnering with Aveda Salons, Institutes and Retail Experience Centers to raise support for clean water in Ohio. Together we are protecting our water at the source through action, awareness, and advocacy and we need your help.

 

Over the last 5 years your Light the Way Candle purchases and donations have reaised $4.6 million, to help Global Greengrants fund water projects that touch the lives of tens of thousands of families worldwide-including those of children living in Tilwari who illustrated the candle packages.

 

In addition to the candle purchases, Pure Elements Salon and Spa is raising money with a raffle. Tickets are $5 each. The grand prize is a basket of goods and services worth $206 donated by local business. A big thanks to our supporters: Beef O' Brady's, Pieces of Style, City Barbeque, and Archer's Tavern. ALL donations benefit the Ohio Chapter of the Sierra Club.
